THE STARS OF THE BOLSHOI SHINED AT THE “MOSAIC DANCE FEST” IN ABU DHABI

A weekend of quality: Artem Ovcherenko and Anna Tikhomirova presented “Love Story” on the stage of the “Emirates Palace” theater in Abu Dhabi.

Great debut for the Mosaic Dance Fest in Abu Dhabi, with the stars of the Bolshoi; Artem Ovcherenko and Anna Tikhomirova who presented “Love Story”.

The two principal dancers danced to the notes of Chaikovsky and Chopin, also bringing their private lives on stage, being husband and wife in real life.

On stage, Anna and Artem played themselves but inserted in the context of the ballet, aided in the show by other international ballet stars who expertly interpreted the moments of love that are created during the phase of falling in love but also in the rest of life. of couple.

Virtuosity was the winning strategy but the expert hand of the production designer and director of photography was not lacking; a flow of images and lights created the right atmosphere for the dancers who merged with the environment.

In short, all is well for this new debut, the Mosaic Dance Fest reconfirms itself as a multifaceted Festival with a great desire to continue the path towards its Mission, that is, to bring Ballet to stages all over the world, step by step this Festival is imposing itself on the attention of the public but also towards the professionals who are now interested in the event.

At the same time, the Mosaic Dance Fest is preparing for the November stages in Dubai and the numerous selections dedicated to young dancers around the world.

A job that the Festival Team is managing carefully; led by Valery Kopeikin who relied on the professionalism of Nicola Convertino, Victor Logaj, Georgi Gotsiridze and Konstantin Panfilov, this working group has now achieved the objectives of the “Mission” of the Festival; bringing ballet within the reach of the general public worldwide.
